Amid rumours of Super Eagles red-hot Victor Osimhen’s possible move to the Premier League, Cristiano Giuntoli, Napoli’s Sporting Director has refused to make comments, reports.
Manchester United are amongst several clubs monitoring the 24-year-old Nigerian and is ‘lining up’ a summer 2023 transfer bid for the Napoli star according to Il Mattino.
Osimhen has been a pivotal player for the Partenopei, scoring 13 goals and providing four assists in 17 appearances in all competitions this season.
Asked if star striker Osimhen is worth €100m, Giuntoli said: “Right now we’re not thinking about the transfer market, we’re focused on everyday life and on what the lads are doing.
“Is he a non-transferable player? They’re all non-transferable for us.”
Meanwhile, Osimhen will look to help Napoli secure its first Serie A title since 1990 before discussing his future in the summer.
Apart from Man United, Newcastle United and Arsenal are also eyeing the striker’s signature. While the Gunners are leading the Premier League, the Magpies have also surprised many and are currently in third place.
